Listening and Speaking from the Heart

As Listener have compassionate presence:

  • Open your heart to “this moment is like this”

  • Contact and feel the other’s True Nature as boundless love and compassion

  • Pause when the mind gets attached to:
    • Agree (yes that is right)
    • Disagree (no that is wrong)
    • Yeah But…
    • Give advice
    • Analyze
    • Plan what you will say

  • Thank the speaker for their words and presence.

As Speaker have compassionate presence and leanness of speech:

  • Open your heart to “this moment is like this”

  • Contact and feel the other’s True Nature as boundless love and compassion

    • Yeah But…
